Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SED PHARMA INC ("Company", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use LabelCheck at labelcheck.ai (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage and server-side session storage to operate the Service.
References to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies where applicable.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies strictly to:
- Authenticate you and keep you signed in
- Maintain secure server-side sessions
- Remember your language preference
- Record that you have acknowledged our Terms, Privacy Policy, and this Cookie Policy
- Protect the Service against abuse and unauthorized access
We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or selling your data.
3. Cookies and Storage We Use
The following table describes the main cookies and storage items used by LabelCheck:
- Flask session cookie — Purpose: maintain your authenticated session and guest session state. Type: strictly necessary. Duration: browser session or as configured by the Service. Provider: LabelCheck (first party).
- Locale preference — Purpose: remember your selected interface language. Type: functional. Duration: up to 1 year. Provider: LabelCheck (first party).
- terms_consent_v1 (local storage) — Purpose: record that you accepted our Terms and Privacy notice banner. Type: strictly necessary for consent record. Duration: until you clear browser storage. Provider: LabelCheck (first party).
- cookie_consent (local storage) — Purpose: legacy consent flag; may be set when you accept the notice banner. Type: strictly necessary. Duration: until you clear browser storage. Provider: LabelCheck (first party).
Third-party infrastructure providers (such as Supabase and Render) may set additional strictly necessary cookies or tokens required to deliver authentication and hosting. Those providers process data under their own policies and our data processing agreements.
4. What We Do NOT Use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party analytics or behavioral profiling cookies (e.g., Google Analytics advertising features)
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking for marketing purposes
5. Legal Basis (where applicable)
Strictly necessary cookies are used based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional Service and, where required, your consent provided at sign-up or via the consent banner.
6. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Service (including sign-in) may not function correctly.
To clear consent flags stored in local storage, use your browser's developer tools or clear site data for labelcheck.ai.
Deleting your LabelCheck account removes your account data from our systems as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not automatically clear cookies already stored on your device.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
