SED PHARMA INC ("Company", "we", "us") operates LabelCheck at labelcheck.ai. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).

Uploaded content: Label files (PDF, PNG, JPG) you upload for analysis, along with extracted text and analysis results.

Usage data: We collect basic session data (cookies) to keep you logged in. We do not use analytics or tracking tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: Process your labels using OCR and AI analysis
  • Store your results: Save labels and findings to your account for future reference
  • Account management: Authenticate you and manage your session

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate LabelCheck:

  • Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage
  • OpenAI — AI-powered OCR and label analysis. Uploaded label images and extracted text are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's data usage policies apply.
  • Render — Application hosting

4. Data Retention

  • Active users: Your data is stored as long as your account is active.
  • Inactive users: If your account is inactive for 2 years, your data may be deleted.
  • Account deletion: When you delete your account, all associated data (labels, files, findings) is permanently removed.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies only:

  • Session cookie: Keeps you logged in during your browser session. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function and does not track you.

We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data
  • Correction: Update your account information
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have additional rights under GDPR including the right to restrict processing and lodge complaints with a supervisory authority.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

LabelCheck is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
